Returns & Refund Policy

Green Gear Store makes every effort to ensure that each order we ship is completely satisfactory, however, we understand that occasionally it is necessary to return an item(s). We stand behind all of our products and if something went wrong with your order, we would like to make it right.

Returns

It is important that you verify the part number that you are ordering before you place your order. If a part is ordered incorrectly by the customer and then returned, the customer will be responsible for all shipping charges and will be subject to a 15% restocking fee.

Please fit check the product and be certain your vehicle information (i.e. year, make, model, bed length, etc.) is correct and are compatible with the product specifications.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. The item must be returned within 14 days from the notice of the intent to return. Our return policy also applies to cancellations made after an item has been physically shipped and/or refusal at the time of delivery.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, new, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging (that means all manufacturer's packaging, warranty cards, manuals, documentation, instructions, and accessories must be returned as well). You’ll also need the original receipt or proof of purchase. Shipping charged are non-refundable if you were charge a shipping fee.

  • Custom item(s) and gift items cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • Unless the return is due to a Green Gear Store error (e.g. you received an incorrect item), the customer (that's you) is responsible for the cost of ALL return shipping charges.
  • All return and exchange merchandise will require an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. Only ship the return to the address detailed in the RMA email you receive. (Please see "Request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)" below)
  • We will require you to provide us with pictures of the item from all sides before it is packaged for shipping. We will also require pictures of the item after it has been packaged for return shipment in the original packaging.
  • If you refuse deliveries from shipping carriers, this will result in penalty charges. The shipping return cost(s) will be deducted from your refund amount.
  • All returns will be inspected and we reserve the right to adjust the refund on the return depending upon the condition of the returned product. 
  • Green Green Store is not responsible for remorse purchase or an incorrect item ordered.
  • If the product is not defective, return shipping fees will apply and/or a partial refund may be issued.

Request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)

All merchandise returns require a Green Gear Store RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. To request an RMA number, please follow this procedure. Any returns received without an authorization number will be refused.

All return requests must be submitted in writing. To start a return, you can contact us at returns@greengearstore.com and we will provide you with the return instructions. We will notify you once we have received your return. If you have questions regarding the return process for an online order you can contact us at returns@greengearstore.com or 1 (480) 702-1177.

Your return will be inspected by the warehouse and if your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. You can always contact us for any return questions at returns@greengearstore.com.

We'll need the following:

  • Your Green Gear Store Number (located in your confirmation emails)
  • A description of the item(s) you wish to return
  • Reason for the return
  • Photos (from all angles) of the item you wish to return

As long as your reason for return is valid, we will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization number. Items returned without an authorized RMA number will be refused and a refund will not be given. Your RMA is valid for 15 business days after it has been issued. Remember, we must receive returns within 30 days of the original ship date.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like personal goods (such as climbing equipment) due to safety and hygiene concerns or custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards.

Installation & Technical Expertise - Implementation & Related Expenses

The installation of our solar kits, camping equipment, and portable power systems may necessitate specialized technical skills or additional equipment not provided by us. We explicitly disclaim any responsibility for the costs associated with installation or any additional fees that customers may encounter due to incorrect installation or misuse of our products. Customers are solely responsible for ensuring that all installation requirements are fulfilled and that they possess the necessary equipment or expertise before initiating the installation process. We strongly advise customers, especially those lacking technical know-how, to seek professional assistance for the installation. Our company shall not be held accountable for any losses, damages, or expenses incurred by customers as a result of improper installation or use of our solar kits, camping equipment, and portable power systems.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at returns@greengearstore.com.

Restocking Fee

Please note that a 15% restocking fee will be applied for any returned products that aren't defective, as determined by the Green Gear Store team.
